Oosterhof Holman BioEnergy (OHBE) is a new company of Oosterhof Holman Milieutechniek to develop biogas projects in the Netherlands and other countries. This basic concept involves a medium scale digester that is used to produce biogas. This can then be used to produce green electricity and thermal energy, or upgraded to substitute natural gas (SNG). OHBE can also assist in obtaining and securing feedstock for the digester.

Laboratory Facilities
All projects start with an estimation of the biogas potential of the feedstock. For this we use a laboratory equiped with state-of-the-art equipment to determine the possibilites within a project. Read more
Anaerobic Digesters
The Anaerobic Digester is in essence a heated and insulated concrete tank, with a gastight membrane roof. With diameters of up to 31 meter, one or more digesters make up the biogas plant or AD facility. Read more
Digestate Upgrading
Digestate, the material remaining after the anaerobic digestion of a biodegradable feedstock, is excellent fertilizer replacement. Read more
Excess Heat Utilization
AD facilities produce more heat than required for their own consumptions. In the Dutch Biogas concept this can be used for heating buildings, greenhouses, swimming pools or other objects. It can also be used in several types of driers. Read more
Biogas Upgrading
Biogas can be upgraded to Natural Gas (NG) quality. This can then be used as vehicle fuel or mixed into an existing grid. Read more
